SUMMARY:Stakeholder Input Meeting for Alternative Assessments
DESCRIPTION:The Assessment Section would like to extend their invitation to the forthcoming Hawaii State Alternate Assessment (HSA-Alt) Stakeholder Committee meeting where the accessibility experts at the state and complex area level\, teachers for the HSA-Alt eligible students\, special education advocates\, parents of children with significant cognitive disabilities\, and community members review and provide feedback on the ongoing HSA-Alt program and future development. Your input and expertise are greatly appreciated and we believe your participation will contribute significantly to the success of the meeting.  \nIn-person meeting Friday\, October 18.2024 from 8:30 am to 4 pm at the Alamoana Hotel. \nThe committee will review and provide feedback on the development of the HSA-Alt program which includes: \n\nNew HSA-Alt Decision-Making Tool\,\nHSA-Alt 1 % Participation Action Plan\,\nHSA-Alt Shortened Test Proposal\, and\nPilot HSA-Alt Classroom Embedded Assessment.\n\n\nIf you would like to participate in the HSA-Alt Stakeholder Committee\, please register using the link https://tinyurl.com/24-Alt-stakeholder no later than Friday\, October 4th.  \nAll non-Department employees will receive a stipend of $194.01 per day.
