DESCRIPTION:Join families\, caregivers\, and community members for an afternoon of connection\, conversation\, creativity\, music\, and support. \nMonthly Family Support Group \nSunday\, October 25\, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM \nHawaii Wellness Mobility Network\, Inc. invites families\, caregivers\, and community members to join us for our October Monthly Family Support Group. \nOur Monthly Family Support Group provides an opportunity to come together\, share experiences\, participate in meaningful activities\, and connect with supportive community resources. \nLocation: \nKaiaulu Hub at the Prince Kuhio Plaza \nAcross from Old Navy \nHilo\, Hawaiʻi \nAn Afternoon of Connection and Community \nParticipants can look forward to: \n– Aloha welcome and community connection \n– Facilitated topic and round-table discussion \n– Community presentation by Kumu Kawika \n– Live healing music \n– Interactive collage and self-affirmation \n– Creativity and imagination activities \n– Keiki Corner \n– Community Talk Story \n– Light refreshments \n– Surveys and community feedback \n– Optional 1:1 support \n– Raffle tickets and prizes \n– Featured Activities \nInteractive Collage & Self-Affirmation \nSerry Lee Kankaole-Wong\, Mental Health Counselor with YWCA\, will facilitate an interactive activity centered on collage and self-affirmation. \nPlease bring magazines and supplies for the Interactive Collage & Self-Affirmation activity. \nCreativity and Imagination \nDonna Leonard\, APRN\, from Ohana Care Clinic\, will lead a creativity-focused activity for participants. \nKeiki Corner \nKeiki are welcome to participate in age-appropriate activities while parents and caregivers have time to connect with others. \nCommunity Presentation by Kumu Kawika \nParticipants will have an opportunity to listen\, learn\, and connect through a short community presentation. \nYou Are Welcome Here \nWhether you are joining us for the first time or have attended a previous gathering\, you are welcome. \nCome as you are.
