Hawaii Wellness Mobility Network, Inc. invites families, caregivers, and community members to join us for our October Monthly Family Support Group.

Our Monthly Family Support Group provides an opportunity to come together, share experiences, participate in meaningful activities, and connect with supportive community resources.

An Afternoon of Connection and Community

Participants can look forward to:

– Aloha welcome and community connection

– Facilitated topic and round-table discussion

– Community presentation by Kumu Kawika

– Live healing music

– Interactive collage and self-affirmation

– Creativity and imagination activities

– Keiki Corner

– Community Talk Story

– Light refreshments

– Surveys and community feedback

– Optional 1:1 support

– Raffle tickets and prizes

Interactive Collage & Self-Affirmation

Serry Lee Kankaole-Wong, Mental Health Counselor with YWCA, will facilitate an interactive activity centered on collage and self-affirmation.

Please bring magazines and supplies for the Interactive Collage & Self-Affirmation activity.

Creativity and Imagination

Donna Leonard, APRN, from Ohana Care Clinic, will lead a creativity-focused activity for participants.

Keiki Corner

Keiki are welcome to participate in age-appropriate activities while parents and caregivers have time to connect with others.

Community Presentation by Kumu Kawika

Participants will have an opportunity to listen, learn, and connect through a short community presentation.

You Are Welcome Here

Whether you are joining us for the first time or have attended a previous gathering, you are welcome.

Come as you are. Share what you are comfortable sharing. Listen, connect, and spend an afternoon with others who understand the importance of community and support.
