Post-Secondary Transition Workshops

FreeJoin our symposium about transition into postsecondary education and success in postsecondary education for students who are neurodiverse. This symposium, ʻIke Loa: Symposium on Postsecondary Transition of Neurodivergent Students Having Potential in STEM, is hosted by the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, Center on Disability Studies faculty and researchers of CLD TEAMS, BEAM, and NSF INCLUDES TAPDINTO-STEM team projects. The symposium is held on Monday, February 26, 2024, 9:00am to 4:00pm (HST) at the Campus Center Ballroom (third floor) at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. The symposium is free with complimentary lunch. Join us for one or more of the sessions that interest you.

*The event is limited to 100 individuals, and priority will be given to secondary teachers and administrators. Participation fees are made available through a co-sponsorship by the U.S. Department of Education, Gifted and Talented Education Program funded projects, BEAM and CLD TEAMS, and by the NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES initiative TAPDINTO-STEM.
For Hawaiʻi Island attendees, a limited number of transportation support is available. Please indicate your needs in the registration form.
