Young Athletes Makahiki

Children aged 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities are invited to the Special Olympics Hawaii Young Athletes Makahiki Event. Activities for the day will focus on development of motor skills, along with socialization through play. Our makahiki event will involve Hawaiian cultural games (Pa’ani) and language (‘Olelo). We also promise lots of fun! 

DATE: Saturday December 6, 2025

TIME: 9:30 – 1100 am (check in at 9:00 am)

LOCATION: Special Olympics Hawaii Complex

91-610 Maunakapu St., Ewa (past the Kroc Center)

Young Athletes t-shirts will be provided for all youth participants along with snacks and drinks. Register early to guarantee your child’s shirt size.

There is no cost to participate.
