SEAC is a State Advisory Panel mandated by IDEA. They meet once a month during the school year to discuss the unmet needs of students with disabilities.

Most special education services in Hawaii are delivered within the Department of Education, but there are some exceptional programs in the private sector as well.
When you have a disagreement about your child's special education services or you need a someone to speak on you or your child's behalf, its nice to know there are agencies working for families and kids.
