Provides information, training, technical assistance, advocacy and mentoring services to parents and guardians of children with disabilities regarding the special education process and the needs of children with any disability. LDAH also provides school readiness services, early childhood developmental, hearing and vision screening, and case management services for children ages 2-5 years, as well as parent education on early childhood health, development and age-appropriate developmental milestones. LDAH is a non-profit organization with multiple projects benefiting children with or at risk of disabilities, their families an the professionals who serve them, including the Hawaii Parent Training and Information Center (Hawaii PTI).
