A body of governor appointed self-advocates, family members, consumers, and public and private agency representatives that plans, coordinates, evaluates, monitors, and advocates on behalf of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Activities include developing and implementing a 5-year State Plan, educating and informing the public and policy makers about developmental disabilities, policy development and implementation, and fostering interagency collaboration and coordination.
